Local Coronavirus Response: Volunteers Needed

Craigavon & Banbridge Volunteer Bureau

CBVB have taken the initiative to commence a small project which entails a base of volunteers, including ourselves to support those who are most vulnerable within our area during this very frightening and unsure time.

We are looking for volunteers on an as and when required basis to continue to help those who are very vulnerable in our communities at this time...it may entail getting someone gas/electric, a few essentials, maybe even a phone call to those who are alone.

All volunteers are expected to adhere to the strict guidelines laid out by the NHS ie; wearing gloves using hand sanitizer no human contact etc. The safety of our volunteers and our community is paramount and a big thank you to anyone already volunteering.

Please contact us if we could add you to our list so we can reach those without family and are very isolated. 028 3834 2741 or pm us on our Facebook page.

Drumcree Community Trust

Drumcree Community Trust are seeking volunteers to help with our community response to the coronavirus.
Volunteers are required to help with delivering groceries and essential supplies and to call vulnerable people to ensure they are coping during the lockdown.

We will be targeting older people age 65+ ( couples and people living on their own) as well as anyone living with a long-term health condition that makes them vulnerable to the virus.
Please share this widely.

Contact Linda on 028 3833 4522 to register as a volunteer or to register for assistance under this programme.
